Company history
The first stone of EIPA Eisen Palmen GmbH was laid in the year 1900 when the family-run company Jakob Palmen was founded.
By now, the company looks back on a century of company history with numerous product developments which were characterized by constantly growing demands and the change of the times.
Until today, our company profits from the associated versatility. A decisive step towards becoming one of the most important manufacturers of wear plates was the introduction of the EIPA compound plate and the associated EIPA “flux-cored wire plus” welding technology.
In order to be able to properly react to the constantly growing demand for clad welded sheets and wear-protected constructions, we continuously invested in highly automated production systems, into the newest IT hardware and software systems as well as into our own metallurgical laboratory.
Thanks to the irreplaceable experience, the tribological knowledge and the well-founded construction know-how of our staff, we have been able to successfully position ourselves in the market as significant company in the area of wear protection abrasion/erosion.
Encouraged by the trust of numerous customers, EIPA will continue to write its company history and provide a high quality standard for all products made by EIPA.
